Clean room business includes services of recycling and precision cleaning of packaging trays and media/disk cassettes used in the hard disk drive and semiconductor industries. This segment also provides precision parts cleaning and parts visual inspection as well as clean room laundry cleaning services.

The business activity of the Clean Room business is now handled by ACI Industries Ltd. The business started as far back as in 1996, when Asian Micro (S) Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Asian Micro Holdings Limited, was incorporated to provide contract engineering assemblies and other support to the high technology industries like disk drives, recording heads and other computer related industries.

In August 2003, Asian Micro (S) Pte Ltd decided to focus on a new core business to do recycling of precision trays and media/disk cassettes, pallets, foam packaging boxes used in HDD industry. to help customer on cost saving and re-use of packaging materials. In year 2004, the Company embarked on a major expansion to provide clean room cleaning services for trays and media/disk cassettes and is now major player in these services.

The Company is equiped with modern equipment, cleanroom facilities and with a team of capable engineering staff who are specialised to meet the requirements of our customers. Flexibility, responsiveness and fast turnaround have been the key to the success of the Company in serving and pleasing our customers.
